Wendameen and Bagheera were designed by John Alden and represent some of the finest wooden yacht designs in the world. Built in Maine in 1912 and 1924, respectively, our schooners allow our guests to experience the classic age of sail while enjoying graceful cruising, a charming crew, and delightful ambience.


Portland Schooner Co. operates these historic windjammers from Portland’s waterfront, close to parking, restaurants, hotels, and interstate highways. Each vessel is certified by the United States Coast Guard to carry up to 48 passengers. Public day sails, overnight excursions, and private charters available. Sailing daily from May through October from the Maine State Pier located adjacent to the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal at the edge of Portland's Old Port. At Portland Schooner Co. we love the sea and the sleek wooden schooners that still sail it proudly. And we love the opportunity to share this passion with our guests.

Each Ticket issued pursuant to the standard offer is valid for use through January 31, 2010. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification.
